Tempura
I have been thinking about making tempura - between Maki and the Cook's Illustrated recipe posted in the comments, I think this may be the way to go: recipe
8/19/12 - quiche: ham, onion confit & white cheddar
8/18/12 - Roast Chicken, mashed yukon golds and cauliflower/carrolts/broccoli
8/17/12 - Scallops Provencal over brown jasmine rice
2/13/11 - Roast Chicken, green beans and Japanese sweet potato fries
2/12/11 - Shrimp and Spinach risotto (accidentally made with sushi rice instead of arborio and it turned out pretty good!)
2/11/11 - Breakfast for Dinner! Scrambled eggs, waffles and bacon!
2/10/11 - Udon with Shrimp, shiitake, scallion, purple watercress and naruto
2/6/11 - Fake N Bake Porkchops, roast asparagus and mashed Yukon Gold potatoes with Chocolate Chipless cookies for desert
2/5/11 - Baked chicken with shallots, rosemary, parsley, thyme, Montreal steak seasoning, and olive oil, Oven roasted rosemary potatoes, halvd brussels sprouts pan friend in butter, and Bacon Spoon Bread
2/4/11 - Turkey burgers and yukon gold overn fries seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning
2/3/11 - Kitsune udon (dashi made with mzudashi method!)
2/1/11 - 4 cheese pizzas using leftover rosemary bread as the crust!
1/30/11 - Silverbrite salmon (balsamic, olive oil and Montreal Steak Seasoning) on the George Foreman with Broccoli and white rice
1/29/11 - Turkey Burgers & Sweet Potatoes
1/23/11 - Roast Chicken, Mushroom risotto and roast asparagus
1/22/11 - Grilled chicken breasts marinated in balsamic, olive oil, salt & pepper
1/20/11 - Chicken, mushroom, wakame and onion ring (!) udon
1/17/11 - Leftover roast dark meat chicken and pepper-jack cheese on whole wheat English muffins grilled on the George Foreman!!!
1/8/11 - Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, carrots and green beans
1/5/11 - Udon - mushroom and chicken with wakame
12/29/10 - Kitsune Udon!!!

12/24/10 - Crab cakes, Vidalia & Swiss Quiche, Cheddar & Monterey Jack with crackers, roast asparagus, roast sweet potatoes, baby carrots, spinach and shrimp risotto, Tilapia with butter/parsley/ritz
12/23/10 - Pasta with Sauce and Sausage and a test batch of crab cakes!
12/22/10 - Fred joined us for dinner - he had never had udon before! Udon with wakame, ebi , chicken sauteed in mirin and soy sauce and naruto
12/19/10 - Fake 'n Bake pork chops, roast acorn squash, cranberry relish, and mushroom risotto
12/18/10 - Sausage, pepper and onion sandwiches
12/17/10 - Chris and Misty joined us for dinner! Roasted red pepper and tomato soup and 2 quiches: 1) ham/white cheddar and carmelized onions and 2) ham, white and yellow cheddar, onions and broccoli
12/15/10 - Udon! Kale and pork pot stickers
12/12/10 - Scott's work Holiday Party
12/11/10 - More Grilled Sandwiches!
12/10/10 - Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup and Grilled Swiss, Bacon, Turkey and Ham with whole grain mustard and Cranberry Relish
